7. I got it Thursday night. It's very cool, but I cant' decide if it's cool enough to switch from Flickr, even though I have a free account.

One of the main reasons I use flickr is that's it's easy to post pictures elsewhere, linking back to flickr. I don't think I can do that with the new photos yet. No RSS feed either.

Are the editing functions working for anyone else? They dont seem to be active yet.

11. I received mine Yesterday actually, havent seen any posting functions available,No I didnt get any confirmation on the switch being done. I just happen to check on it, and it was available.

12. I'm in the same boat. 10 days and no access. Frustrated at the lack of communication.

I love alot of things about Yahoo. My biggest gripe, though, has always been a lack of transparency. OTOH, thats exactly why I watch this blog. :)

15. I got mine, I'm not sure when it got changed for me but I requested it last week, and when I logged in tonight it was the new one. It looks good, definitely like something I would reccomend for family to use and that sort of thing. I know all my family members have Yahoo accounts because they have a fantasy football league. I think that I may use yahoo for sharing family photos, but still use flickr for my personal collection of photos, like the ones going to my blog, etc.

17. Anybody else who signed up on the first day still waiting? Is the reason that some are getting in before 10 days are up and some of us are still waiting at almost 2 weeks because of the number of photos we have saved, perhaps?

Still not in, but over the last few days it wont let me try to sign up again for the beta. I was doing that because another commentor mentioned it work for them. Now it just tells me that there's an error when I try to sign up again. Perhaps they were tired of me bothering them. :)

Do you get an error page if you try to sign up again?

20. WUHU i got Y! photos beta!!!

Yahoo! didn't give me the invite but i hacked in anyway . If u want it just sign yourself up at . Unlike the Y! mail beta hack, this one works for us at&t users.

I don't have a cell phone and when i signed up it warned me of waiting the 10 buisiness days, but to my surprise Y! photos beta was running perfectly in about 10 seconds!

Editing is working fine for me, runs very fast, works perfectly in Fx 1.5, thanks Yahoo!



Y!'s really getting in a lot of beta testing currently. These world class services are the best of the web...

I turn on my pc and check my mail on Y! mail BETA, I chat with friends on the new Y! messenger BETA, I look for that cool site i was on last week with Y!'s My Web BETA, i get directions on Y! maps BETA, and now i store some pictures on Y! photos BETA :)
